A: I am open Tuesday through Friday 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, excluding major holidays. Q: Do you accept Oregon State DHS child care assistance payments? A: Yes, I accept DHS payments. Please contact me with your specific questions. Q: Do you have any pets? A: Yes. We have 1 black lab/golden retriever mix that is very gentle and great with kids. We also have 1 cat that is usually not even around during daycare hours. Both are indoor/outdoor pets. Q: How many adults are in the home during daycare hours? A: The only adults typically in the home during daycare hours are myself and my husband. We have both been screened and enrolled in the Oregon Criminal History Registry. My mother and sister on rare occasions may also be here, but both have also been screened and enrolled in the Oregon Criminal History Registry. Q: Do you have any children of your own? A: I have 2 daughters. One was born in October of 2003 and the other in February of 2007. Q: Do you incorporate any type of religion into your daycare program? A: No, I do not directly incorporate any religious views in my daycare program. Q: Where do children nap? A: Children under 2 typically nap in a portable crib I provide. Children over 2 nap on a portable cot I provide. They nap in rooms on the second level of my home. Bedding is washed regularly and not shared between children. Q: Is there any alcohol or tobacco used by adults during daycare hours? A: No, there is never any alcohol or tobacco used during daycare hours. Our home is smoke-free. Q: How often do I pay? A: You can setup a payment schedule that works best for you. All fees are pre-paid and must be paid in advance of care. Q: Do you have any references? A: Yes, I have multiple references. Please contact me for a list of references. Q: Do I have to pay a deposit? Is it refundable? A: Yes, there is a deposit due equal to one week of care before a child can be permanently enrolled. It is fully refundable should you decide to terminate care as long as a written, 30 day advance notice is given. Q: Do you regularly sanitize toys and items children use? A: Yes, I regularly sanitize toys and other items children use such as portable cribs. Q: My work schedule varies from week to week, are you flexible? A: Yes, for the most part I am flexible regarding your child attending different days week to week. I am a little more restrictive when it comes to children under age 2 as I can only have a limited number due to Oregon State Regulations. Q: Do you pick up and drop off children at school? A: I am within walking distance to Kelly Creek Elementary School. I will walk children to and from school each day that are in the first grade or higher. Q: What kind of vehicle do you use to transport children? A: I have a 2001 Dodge Durango that is used to transport children if we attend an out of home activity. Children may also be transported in our secondary vehicle which is a 1996 Toyota Avalon. Q: Is there a minimum amount per week I am required to pay? A: Yes, when you enroll we will setup your minimum day guarantee. This is the amount you are required to pay each week. Any days over the minimum would be an additional fee. You would not receive a credit for any days not used in the week under the minimum. Q: Do I pay for days my child is sick? A: Yes, if your child is sick and they are scheduled to attend care you would still pay for that day until your minimum day guarantee for that week has been fulfilled. Q: Do I pay for days I am on vacation and my child is not in care? A: No, if you have given me two weeks advance notice of a vacation or other day your child will be absent from care you will not be required to pay for the day. This applies for up to two weeks of vacation time per year. Q: Do I pay for days you are on vacation and not available to care for my child? A: No, if I am not available to care for your child due to a vacation or sick day you will not be charged. I will give you at least a two week advance notice of any vacation day I will not be available for care. Q: What items do I need to supply for my child? A: You will need to supply diapers, wipes, a change of clothes, a spill-proof cup, one bib and pacifier (if needed), blanket, and any ointments or medications. Each child has their own storage bin where items can be kept on a permanent basis. I will notify you when items need to be replenished. Didn't find what you're looking for?
